I sometimes find when I have finished a painting it inspires a poem either from the colors or mood of my soul. Not every piece achieves that but when they do merge together I feel a great sense of completion for that particular creation. Art is my passion as well as my inner growth and looking back I can see my life which also seems to wrap itself around others who are capable of feeling the emotions I have left upon the canvas or page. I draw in a realistic style with pen and ink. Within the confines of realism my work can appear to be anywhere in the spectrum from a basic academic drawing of a model in the studio, to children's book illustration, to scifi-fantasy illustration depending on the needs of a client or my own inclination at the time. |

I am an erotic photographer specializing in alternative lifestyle and fetish subjects. Great effort is taken to portray taboo topics in a manner which reveals the beauty of what others deem ugly, the pleasure within the pain, and the love expressed within both traditional and non-traditional BDSM, Leather and D/s households.

I enjoy working with any claylike medium, glass, tile, beads and paint. I love the Arts and Crafts period and folkart and I'm sure it has influenced my art. I love to throw pottery and I love art with function. I love to do art that makes you feel, be it the portrait of a loved one or a much loved home or pet. |

I strive to reveal the beauty that God placed insided trees. I create bowls, goblets, candlestick holders and much more. I use wet and dry wood, mostly from Indiana and mostly already down on the ground. I buy burls, but very little commercially harvested wood. I have worked with more than 30 species. |

Within the construction of images, the processes of mediums, the hand authoring representation, there are spaces created. Mediums overlap, or give way; distances form between the representation and the real; images become disconnected from people, from the land, from local culture and memory. I utilize aspects of storytelling in my work to convey my messages to the audience. Some themes that have been utilized within my work are: birth and death, evolution, and the corruption of power. Through digital media I create visual "experiences" that can be static, in motion, or even interactive. I paint landscapes in oil and acrylic which are more generalized than realistic, often using techniques such as applying paint with a brayer or in a collage fashion, from imagination rather than from life. While my own paintings are loose, I enjoy all different styles of art and the way other artists interpret their world. My favorite artists would include Winslow Homer, Ingres, Sargent and numerous American Impressionists such as Hassam, Chase and Cassatt. |
