| The mission of the Fine Arts Society of Indianapolis is to provide opportunities for the enjoyment of classical music in central Indiana through radio programming, and to encourage the understanding and appreciation of this art through education.

| Since 1969, the Society has been presenting professionally-produced programs of classical music on non-commercial radio in central Indiana.
The Fine Arts Society now broadcasts classical music 24 hours a day on WICR-FM and WICR-HD2, 88.7 MHz, the radio voice of the University of Indianapolis.

| In addition to broadcasting classical music, the Fine Arts Society offers education programming for schools in keyboard and drumming. We also have a speaker series in classical music. |
