The Anderson Area Children's Choir and Youth Chorale are dedicated to the art of excellent choral singing, providing youth with social, educational, and skill development opportunities such that they experience the personal worth of others. The choir exists to artistically enrich the lives of these children, their families and the surrounding community. The Anderson Area Children's Choir & Youth Chorale provides a unique opportunity for children of all racial, economic, and religious backgrounds. Singers from private as well as public schools can participate in this vocal music experience in a large group setting. The performance-based program emphasizes musical literacy and appreciation. Quality choral literature from all styles and periods forms the foundation for musical learning.

The Anderson Area Children's Choir and Youth Chorale provides a performance-based program to develop music literacy and music appreciation through choral literature to Anderson and Madison County chidren in grades two through twelve. This is done through the use of Kodaly teaching techniques. The entire group presents two concerts each year, and each of the three individual groups is given several performace opportunities within Anderson and Madison County. Each of the choirs plans a tour with workshop and performance opportunities.

The Anderson Symphony Orchestra performs five subscription concerts in the beautiful, restored & historic Paramount Theatre Centre in downtown Anderson, IN. The ASO also performs 'Symphony for Kids' - a free concert for all fifth graders in Madison County, on a Tuesday morning in October, and an Independence Day celebration under the stars at Shady Side Park, free to the public on a Sunday evening close to Independence Day each year.
