The Mission of the Art Association is to provide opportunities to enjoy, educate, participate and inspire through the arts. We have art classes, annual art shows, annual photography shows, annual poetry open microphone nights, annual Christmas concerts as well as programming in most areas in art: basketmaking, fabric, childrens' programming, ethnic programming, ladies' programming, gourmet tasting events, drama school for school age children, ending with an annual holiday gift gallery. We are funded by membership monies, donations, bequests, grants, sponsorships, as well as annual giving by individuals and corporate sponsors. We also share the arts in area schools making as many media of artworks come alive to grade school children as possible. |
