Description

Performing Arts Ensembles include: Black Voices of Inspiration(Award-winning choral ensemble sings spirituals, gospels and contemporary songs)/Haraka Writers (Literary expressions of African American epxerience through short stories, essays & poetry recitals)/ Jahari Dance Troupe(vibrant student dance company that traces the history of Black dance to America)/ New Directional Players (Theatrical company bringing thought provoking drama about the African American experience)/Black Thought Collective (Dialogue-centered & service-learning group to foster intellectual enlightenment and educational opportunities beyond the classroom experience through an Afrocentric perspective).
