The Northeastern Indiana P.O.E.T.S. (Poets of Every Type Society) was organized in 1990. The purpose of the organization is to inspire the appreciation of poetry, to create an atmosphere where poets can achieve success in the accomplishments of their poetic goals, and to provide a community resource for the writing and presentation of poetry.
