The mission of Central Indiana Powwow (The Powwow) is to create cultural awareness, foster acceptance and appreciation of Native American heritage and arts, and reinforce the historical legacy of the area’s Native American foundation. The Powwow’s quality programming and hosting of professional artists to present before underserved audiences (including minority and rural populations) will be expanded throughout the Madison County region. The expansion will positively impact the lives of citizens, students, educators and community members by exposing audiences to diverse cultural traditions.

OUR PRODUCTIONS rely on good scripts, acting and directing, frequently requiring the use of minimal settings and costuming. Chancel Players of Lafayette presents major productions at local churches and community centersfor the general public. AUDITIONS are open to all. Auditions are announced by the local media as well as our mailing lists. NEW MEMBERS are invited to join Chancel Players of Lafayette at any time! Inexperience is no hindrance. Experience is gained by working! Opportunities exist in acting, directing, production (costumes, sets, properties, light and sound) and publicity.
