Attention inventors, engineers and those who like zany contraptions! The one-of-a-kind People's Choice winner of Purdue University's 2004 Rube Goldberg Machine Contest opens at the Muncie Children’s Museum on Saturday, August 27. The goal of the Rube’s County Fair machine is to select, mark and cast an election ballot using at least 20 twisting, turning, complex steps. Rube Goldberg was a cartoonist known for his wacky and whimsical depictions of how to complete a simple task using everyday items.
