ARTIST TALK with Printmaker Carmon Colangelo

Distinguished printmaker and guest artist Carmon Colangelo will be giving a lecture about his work and his artistic vision Friday evening at the IU School of Fine Arts. Carmon Colangelo has been a Professor of Art and Director of the Lamar Dodd School of Art at the University of Georgia since 1997. In July 2006, Colangelo will start his new position as Dean of the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts at Washington University. With 20 solo shows in the past 10 years and another 100 group exhibitions in the past two decades, Professor Colangelo has exhibited widely, has work in numerous prestigious collections, and has been a visiting artist at the top art schools. An opening reception of printmaking students will follow from 7-9pm at the SoFA Gallery.
