Indiana Arts, Connecting you to a world of art
Starn, Karen
Painter and Educator (View Portfolio) 3414 Three Oaks Drive
Fort Wayne, IN 46809
My primary media is watercolor. My main subject matter is floral, however, I enjoy doing wildlife, portraits, and renderings of old buildings. I work out of my private studio, plus teach adult watercolor at the Fort Wayane ArtSource Gallery and Learning Center.
I graduated in 1981 from Indiana University with a degree in graphic arts and worked as an art director, advertising artist and illustrator for over 25 years. I have won many awards in local and regional art shows. I am the founding member and president of the Fort Wayne ArtSource. I am in charge of our Make It & Take It Art Club. Once a month I teach an art project to inner-city children at West Central ministries and Turnstone, a center for disabled children and adults.
