Description
My work would be best described as elegant, simple, and nature inspired. I tend to draw on my observations of the harmony of nature; the relationship between soft meditative colors of nature that inspire and comfort the spirit, and the textural elements that surround us so beautifully. It is my hope that my jewelry will inspire and remind others that amazing beauty can be seen all around us.
Background
Although from Indiana originally, I spent several years living in Hawaii. I believe my work is reflective of my time there. I began my exploration of metal through the South Bend Regional Museum of Art's educational program. I have received an Honorable Mention for one of my rings placed in the student and faculty exhibition in 2005. My work can be viewed and purchased at Circa Arts Gallery in South Bend, IN; The Box Factory For The Arts in St. Joseph, MI; and Sycamore Fine Arts Gallery located at the Old Bag Factory in Goshen, IN.
